St. Peter's Church is a small, friendly, family orientated church which is situated in the beautiful village of Elwick, just off the A19. The church plays an active part of the life of our community and works closely with St. Peters Elwick Church of England (VA) Primary School.
We have a range of worship suitable for old and young alike, and an informal creche area available during services where children may play under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
The church is of significant architectural beauty, and is home to a variety of stunning stained glass windows. The church recently commissioned a new window depicting marriage, which was installed in February 2010 and designed by Alan Davis.
We would be delighted to welcome you into St. Peter's and hope to journey in faith and prayer with you.
